List of training locations
Overseas Program, in which all students participate, are customized short-term overseas training programs (regular curriculum) designed to deepen learning in specialized fields at each training location. Students in Department of Global Management Studies are divided among six universities in five countries with which The University of Nagano has partnerships, and they study languages and specialized fields overseas. Students in Department of Food and Health Sciences will participate in an overseas program in New Zealand, and students in Department of Child Development and Education will participate in Overseas Program in Finland.

In addition to specialized education in each department and domestic site visits and practical training, the following items will be covered.
- Promoting understanding among training sites and handling various procedures with receiving institutions.
- Regarding passports, credit cards, and other belongings
- Regarding crisis management
- Regarding travel authorization procedures in various countries
- Regarding means of communication on site
- Regarding local social conditions and living conditions
