About the four-term system
Each semester lasts two months (most universities have a two-semester system with each semester lasting four months). Short, intensive courses enhance learning effectiveness.
It becomes easier to participate in summer schools and various training programs in Europe and the US, and it also becomes easier to attract short-term exchange students from overseas.
